Detroit ISD vs Office Depot!

Whistle-blower David Sherwin has confirmed that high level officials at the Detroit Public schools have decided to file a multi-million dollar lawsuit against Office Depot for fraudulent overcharging on the DPS office and school supply contract with Office Depot.

Sherwin states:

"DPS officials have confirmed that Office Depot has not cooperated with the DPS IG investigation and DPS will file a lawsuit against Office Depot for civil fraud, deceptive trade practices and breach of contract."

DPS confirmed that their action was generated by an comprehensive complaint filed by David Sherwin of Ft. Myers , FL , and 11 year Office Depot veteran now turned s whistle-blower.

Stated Sherwin:

"Office Depot has stolen from the poorest of the poor, our nations most down trod-ed school children, they should have criminal charges filed against their greedy executives not civil charges"

Sherwin continued: "If a welfare mother steals $20 in baby formula she will go to jail, Office Depot can not be allowed to steal millions and get away with a civil slap on the wrist, Depot executives need to go to jail!"

Office Depot is under multiple federal, state and local fraud investigations, involving hundreds of millions in overcharging of government agencies nationally. Stated Sherwin: "DPS need to hold these corporate criminals accountable, look into the faces of the poor school children of Detroit , they are the victims, put Depot executives in jail!"

"Can any federal, state or local purchasing director in good conscience recommend the awarding of an office or school supply contract to the only known Fortune 500 company to have its national membership/accreditation in the Better Business Bureau (BBB) REVOKED...ever? Especially with 14 additional federal, state and local fraud investigations into Office Depot's government contracts yet to be brought to fruition."

The SE FL BBB has up-dated their site on Office Depot to include under "Government Actions" the Missouri Attorney Generals settlement and injunction against Office Depot along with the previously posted Florida AG settlement and action against Office Depot. The SE FL BBB is responsible for Office Depot's national membership. BBB officials could not recall the last time a Fortune 500 company had their national membership revoked by the BBB.
